How To Handle School Stress

How to handle school stress FINALS!!!! Most of us college kids will be looking like this or have looked like this for the past week. UGH!!!! talk about annoying and stressful, it's like the worst time ever to be in college. Your stuck in your dorm, or in your room at home(ME) studying with piles of books in front of you and cups of caffeine or some energy drink. Honestly my finals are in a couple of weeks, and I will not be subject to this craziness, it's just not for me. I know other people don't want to stress there self's out as well. So when it comes to studying actually try and study the week before, and make sure you get the reviews. Usually the reviews are exactly whats on the test. The professors do try to trick students with the reviews, but for the most part a review sheet is for your benefit. 
                                            IT'S BORING
Yes studying is boring but it doesn't have to be extremely boring where you find it to be a waste. I like to make a game, and study like that, and for stressful finals maybe making a game can help. Also try and study with a few friends, but stay on topic. We can all get carried away when we have company with us, but you grade is on the line. So keep the horse playing to a minimum. If you can't come up with a game, then try to come up with a song. If that will help you with your memory, and when you like a song, you'll definitely remember it.  Try to find ways to keep yourself entertain while studying. you can also picture images in your head that you may represent for what your studying. That actually helps a lot when it comes to your studies, when you picture something usually your visual memory is stronger.


Try to relax for a while don't over study because that could just make you forget everything that you just studied. Even if it's for an hour, that will be better than studying for like six straight hours without a break. That could also make someone go crazy, and who wants that. Don't forget to eat, taking care of your body is essential when it comes to school and studying, and if you don't take care of your body then it'll be hard to keep up. Especially during finals week, when people live on coffee. You can't just live on liquid, you have to have some solids in there. Just try and don;t over due it during finals, make sure you can just get through it and find an easy way to do that. Whether it's making up a game, or hanging/studying with friends.

I know that studying differently is hard, but It's harder to sit here and look at this image and know this is how you study often, it sucks. But everything can change and it doesn't have to be this way, you can start over differently. It'll be hard but the results will be different and you can see the difference in your grades.
Start a schedule that will work for you, especially since your in school and you also may work. So the first thing to do would be for you to start a schedule. Maybe 2-3 hours would be good, and if not you can start with an hour and work from there. The main thing you want to do is cut down on the long hours and feel like your actually getting something out of studying.
 Always remember that repetition is the best way to learn something, whether it's a new subject or a new song. The more you read on it or listen to it, the more you can repeat it. Don't over do the books, and stuff yourself just try to continue to repeat everything that you know. Start off with your notes which is usually on the exams mostly. After trying to remember or repeating what you know, the exams will be that much easier for you.
Lastly, get sleep it's the most important part of anyone's day. Between 6-8 hours of sleep will help anyone when it comes to retaining information for an exam. Plus no one functions well on no sleep, people tend to do things better and have more energy with a good nights sleep.
